Congleton Town Museum Group is looking to move their archives to Bradshaw House, a Grade II listed Georgian Mansion.
Congleton is a thriving market town in Cheshire. It has a very active, community-run museum, which is currently housed within the former Town Hall. However; the building is being considered for disposal and the museum is in need of a new home.
The Group has an interesting town, county and, arguably, nationally important archive along with exceptional volunteer and trainee schemes which appeal to all ages and abilities but require a space more appropriate for their needs. Members of the group have been working with PRT on building strong governance and on their pending funding application.
