Warkton Village Hall
The Montagu Monuments, set in a purpose built chancel, at St Edmund’s Church, Warkton span three generations of the Montagu family.
The stories behind the monuments and the people they commemorate are varied, fascinating and plentiful.
But how should these stories be told?
Which stories would capture the imagination of today’s visitors?
On behalf of the project partners, The Buccleuch Living Heritage Trust and St Edmund’s Church Parochial Church Council, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust would like to invite you to a special evening of discussions and debate that we hope will go a long way to answering the above.
You will be one of the first to view the newly conserved monuments and will then, in a warm and friendly environment, develop themes and identify the best ways of communicating these brilliant works of art to the widest possible audience.
Mulled wine and mince pies will be provided in the Village Hall. We truly hope you will be able to join us on December 3rd.
Please feel free to circulate the event details amongst your networks.
