Galleries of Justice
Our 18th BRICK workshop will take place on 03 February 2016 in Nottingham’s beautiful Lace Market at the Galleries of Justice Museum.
The event will feature presentations, case studies, Q&A sessions, group discussions on creative and funding options for your projects. These events are also fantastic networking opportunities for community groups and not-for-profit organisations.
Registration begins at 9:30 and the workshop runs 10:00am until 4:30pm.
Over the course of the day we will hear from:
- Gavin Richards from the Architectural Heritage Fund on financial and technical support available from the organisation
- Thomas Newman from Business in the Community on working with the private sector
- Richard Woods, Associate at Purcell architects on creative options for the re-use of historic buildings and community engagement
- Jonathan Schifferes, Associate Director at the RSA on the Heritage Index and the link between heritage and place identity.
More speakers to be announced
To make sure that as many people as possible can take part, our early bird registration fee is only £19. Lunch and refreshments are included. We also offer travel bursaries (£25 per person) – get in touch to apply.
We want to ensure that we are tailoring the BRICK programme to suit the needs of those in the heritage regeneration sector, so as part of the registration process you will need to complete a brief survey, which won’t take more than ten minutes.
During lunch, there will be the opportunity to discuss the digital promotion of your project (Social media, website and email) with our digital coordinator Claire Mykura. Please let us know in advance if this would be of interest.
Please pass this on to colleagues or associates who would be interested in this event. If you require any further information, please contact us at BRICKworkshops@princes-regeneration.org.
We look forward to you joining us.
