Maryhill Burgh Halls
Our eighth BRICK workshop will take place on 21st January 2015 at Maryhill Burgh Halls, Glasgow, G20 8YE, from 09:30-16:30. It will feature presentations, case studies, group activities, Q&A sessions and networking opportunities for community groups in Scotland and beyond.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Asset transfer and site/building ownership issues
- Community shares
- Long term project viability
- Case studies of successful heritage regeneration projects in Scotland.
Speakers include representatives of the Development Trusts Association Scotland, Community Shares Scotland, Buzzbnk, Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust, Govanhill Baths Community Trust, Govan Workspace Ltd and The Prince’s Regeneration Trust.
Attendees will also have the chance to discuss their projects and their options with heritage professionals.
Registration is just £22 per person, including booking fees and VAT. Complimentary lunch & refreshments will be provided at the event. A small number of travel bursaries are also available on application.
